Can a person really "claim" a fictional character from a movie or something as their soulmate/husband? as if they own the character and no one else can draw them with another partner. I mean.. fictional means "Not real." yet I see so much drama all over the net where people, men and women, get jealous when someone else says they like that particular character. It's so insane o0

I mean.. sure! Make as many OC's girlfriend/boyfriend you want, but the fictional character is not yours! There's no reason to get upset or mad at each other! they don't belong to you! dayum o0

That was today's rant xD

(The reason why I'm ranting is because someone really gave me an earful about how I dared to draw "her" Dodger)

I had experiences of being jealous over a fictional character myself. So, somehow I can understand the reason they upset about it. Virtual lover is something that you created in your fantasy, to please your desire of being wanted by someone that we want. Some people are lonely & have problematic social life in offline, that they escaped to fantasy to find comfort. When they see someone else pairing their lover with other OC / character, they felt it ruined their dream world. Even so, going to such extreme is indeed overboard. Like you said, fictional characters are fictional. They are not real human lovers, whom you can have romance with for real or being stolen away by someone else.
